ABOUT ZOE

Zoe Sava was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in 1968.

She received an Honours Degree from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Education degree in 1990. An educator for many years, she has taught in Eastern and Western Canada and is currently teaching in White Rock, British Columbia.

Zoe began painting fifteen years ago while studying in Aix en Provence, France. She works primarily in oil and mixed media on canvas. Her artistic inspiration is in the study of nature and landscape. Beginning as a plein-air painter in the south of France, her works are rich in color, light and movement.

Zoe has participated in several art shows in Nova Scotia, the Mikelson Art show in White Rock and the Harmony Arts Festival in West Vancouver. Her work was donated to the Surrey Memorial Hospital Lottery grand prize show homes in 2003, 2004, and the new 2005 showhome, and also to the 2003 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation gala.

Currently residing in British Columbia with her husband and two small children, Zoe’s works are on display in several locations throughout the Lower Mainland and in private collections across Canada and the United States.
